The construction does not allow of the presence of the non-finite complementiser om:

Example 1

a. *Omdat it ien net om te begripen is sûnder it oar
because the one not for to understand is without the other
Because you cannot understand one without the other
b. *Mei him is net om te praten
with him is not for to talk
He cannot be talked with

There is a related construction which requires the presence of the non-finite complementiser, see Preceding infinitival with complementiser and object gap for more details. This construction has the appearance of allowing prepositional complements to be realised in the structural subject position of wêzebe.
